Save yourselves.  The writing is on the wall.  Yellow pages is transitioning from the advertising landscape as a secondary medium at best.  It had its moment in the sun and that day has passed.  There was a time when the management of the industry could have embraced the electronic revolution, but their efforts not surprisingly was a matter of too little, too late.  They can join Kodak in the graduate school marketing case studies of how bad decisions kill companies.  And they will.  Poster children for flawed forward thinking and misjudgment.  Yellow page sales is simple to understand at this point.  Less business will advertise, hence earning for the company and the reps will fall.  There is no way to stop this snowball effect.  You either recognize it, or you stick your head in the sand and pretend the sun will shine a brighter day tomorrow, when in fact the storm will only get worse.  Its like car sales.  If people stop buying the car you sell, you will make less money.  People are buying less yellow pages advertising, so you will make less money.  Those who stay because they don't have the balls to move on will have to work harder to do more to make, if lucky, the same.  And how much harder can you work?  How much more time can you spend away from your family and life?  Just because management pours the Kool-Aid down your throats and says "swallow," does not mean businesses will drink from the same tap.  People get ready, the train's a coming.  It's time to get on board.
